A video of our Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge this weekend.
This was a training walk for the proper 3 Peak Challenge.
It was so hot and we spent so long on our feet.
It was a real slog but we did it, and we did it together!
I definitely felt the benefits of all my running and was pleased with how I managed, although some body parts are still aching today!
The main achievement is we kept together as a team, encouraged each other and pushed through physical and mental limits.
We all faced our own challenges and found out our real strengths and weaknesses.
It was great to have a support vehicle meeting us several times, with the heat we would have really struggled without extra water and the moral boost and help with sorting our kit out at each stop made such a difference.
Onwards to the 3 Peak Challenge, we’ve got this boys!!
Snuffle mats are fantastic! They’re quite simply lots of pieces of fabric in a mat that you throw treats in to for your dog to find. The act of sniffing is very calming and enjoyable for dogs, and the snuffle … Continue reading →

I’m always comparing myself to other people, I’m awful at it. They’re faster than me, they’re stronger than me, they’re more confident than me. As I’ve been learning to run I’ve constantly been comparing my time and pace to others, … Continue reading →
