Guinness is 4 today.  I’ve said Happy Birthday and given him a nice bone, not that he knows any different.
It makes me wonder why some of us throw huge parties for our dogs or get presents and various things. Why do we do it?

I suppose the dog enjoys the random day of extra treats, but dogs also like consistency and we should always be nice to them.

I wouldn’t scoff anyone who throws big birthday occassions for their dog, I just wonder what the dog gets out of it.
