You can only be lost if you are aiming for a destination.
If you stop worrying about where you’ll end up, you’ll no longer be lost.


I wrote that today while walking around a woodland I’d never been to before. I couldn’t find the way out, but instead of worrying about it I just kept walking and enjoyed my moment of peace and quiet with nature.

I ended up back at the entrance twice before deciding to leave.
